What is your typical schedule?
We usually book an event for a standard five hour time period. We can provide a pianist for the ceremony, jazz trio for your cocktail hour, and a full band for dancing and dining.
How long are your sets?
Our cocktail and dinner sets are typically an hour where our dance sets usually run about 75 minutes, however this can be amended due to the “feel” of the event and venue. We strive to inspire your guests to have fun (dance!).
Will you play extra at the event?
Encores are complementary, however if you feel your event should need more dancing, this can be arranged as needed.
Will we get to choose the songs that you’ll be playing?
Our songlist is extensive, and you’ll probably find that we know the songs you want for your special dances (like the first dance, last dance, and dances with parents).
Will you learn a special song for our event?
If you have a song that you’d like for one of these special dances, and we don’t know it, we’ll do our best learn it for you, or, if you prefer, we can play the CD by the original artist.
Will you provide emcee services?
We work with our clients to provide as little, or as much emceeing as you request. However, in our extensive experience in events, we find emceeing an integral part of keeping the event moving forward.
What do you play during the break?
We provide carefully selected pre-recorded music appropriate to the break time, but we welcome you to make your own 30 minute cds if you so desire.
What will the band wear?
Black tuxedos; black suits, white dress shirts and ties; black suits with black shirts, no ties.
When does the band set up?
We strive to be set up before the guests arrive, and work closely with the venue and other vendors involved with your event.
